DCH4 Trail #2112: 7/4/20 1pm onwards

Due to the nationwide uptick in COVID-19 cases, DCH4 will continue to host socially distant trails. This means that Spelunker & Late Nite will not be hosting their annual Independence Day after-party/on-on barbecue at their house. Stay safe & healthy!

 

Start Location: Meadowbrook Softball Fields #4, 5, 6 – parking lot at the intersection of Beach Dr & Pinehurst Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD *overflow parking available at Meadowbrook Local Park along Beach Dr.
Hares: Late Nite Drive Thru & Ass Spelunker
Trail Description: 1 trail for walkers & runners not to exceed 4 miles, expect a mix of urban and wooded trails, do not anticipate water/mud shiggy, no beer check, chance for PI – low, chance for ticks – medium/low. If the hares are motivated, they may add an eagle split.
Hash Cash: $0 – BYOE (Bring your own everything)

 

* We plan on bringing our canopy and propane grill to the park if anybody wants to bring stuff to drink & grill – BYOB. Our grill is a small camping grill, so if anybody has a bigger one (*insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here*) you can bring it as well. Also bring camp chairs (possibly an extra canopy too if there are enough of us).

Location – Behind Sherwin Williams paint store at 7644 Richmond Hwy Alexandria, VA 22306 (look for postal vehicles)

Hares: Porn To Fail (PTF) and Loan Shark (LS)

Walkers Trail about 3 miles
Runners trail roughly 4.5 miles
Strollers: Call PTF beforehand to discuss
Trails will be marked with Green flour, Green chalk and Green tape

There will be intersections AND bad trails. Since this is ASS hashing 1 puff of flour off a check will indicate True Trail. Bad trails will not be onerous

Shiggy factor 3-6 on all trails
Moistness factor 3-4 on all trails

There will be beer provided at finish from 10AM to 3PM for those wankers not smart enough to bring their own.

Special note about dogs:
All dogs are fine on walkers trail. Small dogs that can be carried for 150 yards or so OK on runners trail. There will be a work-around for larger dogs on runners trail. PLEASE, do not take larger dogs on this section of runners trail.

Start: Georgian Forest Local Park (2720 Silverdale Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20906)  ~1.5 miles from Glenmont metro
Hare: Bobbin for Buttplugs
Time: June 13th – Anytime after 12:00. Circle up on zoom at 6:00pm

Trail info:

  • A-A, Turkey/Eagle splits. Eagle ~5mi true. Shaggy Factor: 2/5, but everyone gets wet and filthy just as you like it.  Traditional marks. No backchecks or YBFs. All falses shall be hard falses. Wankers who live to zen will probably live to regret it.
  • Trail will be dog friendly (must be on leash). Will not be stroller friendly. There shall be one beer check.

Time: June 6th – Anytime after 12:00. Circle up on zoom at 6:00pm

Trail info: There will be one trail not to exceed 3.5ish miles. A-A, trail will be dog friendly (must be on leash). May not be stroller friendly. However there are easy work arounds. There may even be one beer check 😁

* Hare: RU-469, Pour Some Custard On Me, Just Gibson (Alpha) and maybe a mystery hare

* Time: 30 May 2020 at 1:00. Circle up on zoom at 6:00

* Start location: The now closed Red Gate Golf Course Parking Lot. 14500 Avery Rd Rockville Md. Look for chalk marks near clubhouse.

* closest metro is Rockville and you can take Rideon 48 or 49 bus to Avery and Norbeck and then a 10 min walk to start.

* Trail info: 1 trail; A to A; about 4 miles. Shiggy socks recommended and PI is possible

* trail is dog friendly but not stroller friendly (although you could stay at the golf course and walk the course with a stroller)

Next trail will start at house of DyNasty – 7550 Telegraph Road Alexandria VA 22315.

Come with your Quarenteam, physical distance from others (face covering may be good for the paved sections of trail). BYOB so you can have a beer check on trail. Due to rain, expect some mud.

Trail be set early to allow plenty of time before the 6pm circle on Saturday. Theme is Big Fat Gypsy 5th Wedding Anniversary. 5 year Anny theme gifts are wood and silverware. Colors are blue, pink or turquoise. Post photos of yourself on trail.

Back parking lot of Rockville Senior Center. Bypass first lot, pass playground and park in parking lot behind center.

A to A, one bag of flour or less (can’t waste flour). Bring cell and cash/credit for take out beer stop. Hare’s cell-not important!! 3-4 miles. Stroller and dog friendly.
