Due to the nationwide uptick in COVID-19 cases, DCH4 will continue to host socially distant trails. This means that Spelunker & Late Nite will not be hosting their annual Independence Day after-party/on-on barbecue at their house. Stay safe & healthy!
Start Location: Meadowbrook Softball Fields #4, 5, 6 – parking lot at the intersection of Beach Dr & Pinehurst Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD *overflow parking available at Meadowbrook Local Park along Beach Dr.
Hares: Late Nite Drive Thru & Ass Spelunker
Trail Description: 1 trail for walkers & runners not to exceed 4 miles, expect a mix of urban and wooded trails, do not anticipate water/mud shiggy, no beer check, chance for PI – low, chance for ticks – medium/low. If the hares are motivated, they may add an eagle split.
Hash Cash: $0 – BYOE (Bring your own everything)
* We plan on bringing our canopy and propane grill to the park if anybody wants to bring stuff to drink & grill – BYOB. Our grill is a small camping grill, so if anybody has a bigger one (*insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here*) you can bring it as well. Also bring camp chairs (possibly an extra canopy too if there are enough of us).
